I just stumbled on this thread. This is a super noble thing to do, to take the time to help someone genuinely in need. I'm really impressed. Males me proud to be a part of these boards, and its good to see that a few people rallying together around something can really make a difference in someones world. Kudos ladies and gents, true superheroics at their best.

He did yes...he isn't allowed on the boards until he is done all his pricing for the day and if I catch him on here I may have to smack him with a wet noodle :sumo:

UPDATE

 

I spoke with the student today and here are two paraphrases from the conversation:

 

"I came into some money recently, so things are better."

 

"My mom got a job, so that's also good."

 

I didn't pry b/c I didn't want to give away anything, but I'm glad she got the money and it helped.
