Personally I think the Dark Knight movies were far superior to any of the superman movies.

 

However, in terms of the two books they are very similar... perhaps with ac1 slightly ahead.

It depends on what I want it for. For investment, Action1 wins. It performs well and is one of the most readily recognized comics. For the sake of collecting (which is why I buy in the first place) I would pick tec 27, I feel a closer connection with Batman as a character. He is a vision, an ideal one can almost strive for and strive to be. Strong. Intelligent. Philanthropic and looking for no reward.

 

Superman is not a man, he is a SUPERman; thus beyond the reach of mortals.

and I have never bought a Superman comic book off the rack or stand ever in 33 years of collecting.

Movies

Video games

Animation

Action figures

Comic book graphic novels over Superman.

If we want to take it a step farther Batman has much better

villains

gadgets

A more interesting Gotham City then Metropolis.

With that being said would you believe I like Superman better than Batman?
