So, even though I wasn't part of the official HGE, it seems I had a Secret Santa anyway - CAHokie sent me a Priority Mail box with two wrapped presents inside!

 

I made mention in DR.X's thread that I am not used to people being nice to me, so this just blows me away - really.

 

I can only say, thank you, Ben. You made me get "the feels," as the kids say nowadays.

I had the wife open the USPS box to verify the inside was wrapped. After she opened it she told me it should stay in the USPS box until we arrived at my parent's. We're here so heres a wrapped shot of it...unwrapped shots tomorrow morning :)

I'm not going to lie: this is becoming a bummer... oh well. I have much to be grateful for and I'm glad my SS recipient has his gifts.

I am a little late posting a pic but I wanted my Secret Santa to know that I received the package and was thrilled when I opened it! They definitely get bonus points for wrapping in the Sunday funnies. I will post more pics tomorrow...

Well the Mail guy has come and gone. No Secret Santa present for me for Christmas. Oh well.

 

I do hope nothing bad has happened to my SS.

 

I recall when I was your SS you had similar issues.

The mail people never wanted to haul packages to your mail box and just left paper saying we tried

delivery
