Gushing review.....not sure I'd 100% agree he knocked the art out of the park

No, he definitely didn't 'knock it out of the park'. The art was scratchy and poorly distinguishable at times, and the flow of the storytelling in the prison beating scene was disjointed. I'd say the art was average.

 

Story was pretty good for a first issue. I'll definitely read the first arc at least.

Got both copies of the 1:25 Pichelli variant the LCS had for $10 each, I took the woman with me to beat the "1 per customer" rule. Neither are 9.8's, both have spine ticks but I think one of them is press & slab worthy.

I don't know what it is with the DF variants because I did incredibly well with the Death Of Wolverine ones, but for such a low print run, nobody seems to care about the Spider-Gwens, or the Star Wars very much. Not a lot of markup there
