Corrections:

Animaniacs 15 has the Warner's Bros. symbol instead of the "DC Universe."

Sovereign 7 1 has DC Universe.

Now I have to hunt for Catwoman 9 as well. Drats.

thanks for the Sovereign Seven, do you know if there are DCU for any other issues other than #1?

1) No other Sovereign 7 issues to add. Your list has: 1) items I have; 2) items

on my want list; & 3) items I consider questionable.

I do not have any others not on your list.

2) I will have to check my Animaniacs 15 to se if: a) it is a "DC Universe;" or

b) is it a "Warner's bros" (in which case there are 3 versions of that issue).

Just won a Catwoman 9 "DC Universe" (or at least that was what was in the

picture of the lot).

Adv of Superman 530, Action 706, Superman MOS 42 & 49, and Superman 95 & 117, Impulse 10, Steel 23

I think these are currently still considered as questionable, though they are on the list. I'm pretty sure the superman's I just saw on another existing list which I Just copied, and I think I found images of Impulse 10 and Steel 23 myself on the web at some point...Anyone who can confirm any of these with a picture would be great.

Also, Cpt Kirk seems fairly certain of the existence of Adv of Supes 530 and Action 706. Perhaps at some point he can confirm why he feels so confident.

I'm certain that Animaniacs #15 belongs on the list. I bought one of those two packs from Mile High to get mine (incidentally also a great way to get the Pinky and the Brain #1). If I weren't overseas right now I'd have supplied a photo of mine rather than the eBay link.

I know I'd like to see the #15 with the WB symbol. I've never seen one of those. It's not a subset I'm after yet, but I'd certainly buy them if I saw them.

My mistake. It is not the Animaniacs 15 that is a "Warner Bros" variant. It

is "Animaniacs" 16 (which you have as a "DC Universe").

See the following item:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANIMANIACS-DC-1995-Series-16-Fine-Comics-Book-/301684842198?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463dd15ed6

[if you order it from MH, you will almost certainly get the direct edition. MH

has a lot of issues where their picture is of a variant but what you get is

whatever they grab from the box. Once they learn of the variant they will:

a) replace the picture; b) list the variant at much higher prices; and c) create

counts (most or all "0") for the variant.]

The ones you list as questionable are, with the exception of Steel 23, also

on my questionable list. Steel 23 is on my want list so I think I too have been

convinced that it exists.

Sorry for my mistake.

Hey Revat. My confidence is low.... I only have DCU variants of Action 706 and Adv of Superman 530 on my list because Jerome thought they might exist (I recall Jerome telling me many moons ago that he had an Action 706 in his hands once, but it was in such bad shape he didn't buy it). I've been looking for 4 years now, and I've never found a DCU variant of Action 706 and Adv of Superman 530 issues, so I think it is best to just keep listing them as questionable.

thanks for that. I think I'll remove them for now then. If you and Jerome don't think they exist, then ...they are legend.

I picked up the following yesterday. These are all on the list on the first page, with the exception of Guy Garnder 0, which is a zero hour logo, not a DCU logo. I don't need these, so PM me if you do!

List has been updated above.

Superman MOS 42 & 49, and Superman 95, Impulse 10, Animaniacs 16 all appear to be questionable. Can anyone confirm any of these? Cpt Kirk seems to have some superman knowledge?

I think I got Superman 117 mixed up with its variant, which is not DCU, so I took it off.

I think I might have made mistake by adding Animaniacs 16, I'm leaning towards taking it off.

Jerome thought MOS 42&49 and Superman 95 might exist, so I would leave them on for now. I've never seen them.

I just found a half dozen in the dollar boxes at the Mile High warehouse store that they apparently overlooked. I'm getting close to completing the bullet books after finding one in KC last weekend and a JLA #58 at Mile High.

Are there any from the list that commander anything over $20?

yes, but it will depend on the grade in some cases. Some appear to be extremely rare and there are completionists who will pay significant amounts for them.

And I've definitely sold some midgrade rare-ish ones for $10-$15, that I assume would have gone for more than $20 in NM. But its probably more about finding the right buyer at the right time with the right book than anything being universally recognized as valuable.

I'm probably on the extreme end, but I'm offering $100 for any DC Universe variant of Adv of Superman 530 or 531 and Action 706 in FN or better. Also offering $50 for Superman 95, 98 and 117 and SM MOS 42&49 and Justice League 86 in FN or better. I know for sure that Adv of SM 531, Superman 98 and JL 86 DCU's exist.
