1000 comics in 2015 book club

Curious - how do you figure? I mean, what are you using to base that number on?

 

The volume covers 56 issues of Strange Tales, but Dr. Strange was the backup story in each one.

 

Even if I went to 22 pages=1 issue, it would only equal 27 comics.

 

Of course, if you go by word-count, I will understand.

Aaahhh, I thought you read everything in the there. In that case I was counting Strange Tales #110, 111, & 114-168. So yes, If you read everything I would have counted it as 56 issues.

Yeah, the first handful of stories were 5-8 pages, then the majority were 10 pagers. There were a few pin-ups tossed in there as well.

 

I'mma stick with my conservative 20 issue-count.

x4 min per book = 2,180 mins = 36 hours over 16.5 days = 2.2 hours per day (or really like 6-8 hours on weekend days and 1-1.5 hours before bed on weekdays)

 

Either way it is a lot though...

Pretty stoked to have broke 100 in less than a month.

 

And has anyone read the AvX infinite comic? In AvX 1, it shows Nova hitting a building and also hitting the wing of an airplane and knocking it off; however, in the infinite comic, it only shows him hitting the building and NOT any airplane. He did almost hit a helicopter, but was able to avert that. Can't Marvel keep their story straight?

Deadpool Omnibus: absolute torture. Everyone shelling out $1k for a NM #98 should be forced to read this tripe beforehand. I've read plenty of other Deadpool like: Merc w/a Mouth and Deadpool Corps but this was another animal entirely. If i was forced to choose between re-reading this and going blind, i'd likely choose to go blind.
