Really got into Coheed and Cambria lately and wanted to check out Claudio's work. My girlfriend got me the Amory Wars Ultimate Edition for Valentines Day so I started reading it. The Bag On Line Adventures are the two original comics that were re-adapted into the first two issues of the Amory Wars. I kind of prefer the original. It's a good Sci-Fi read. I'll definitely be picking up In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 Ultimate Edition.

Southern Bastards: 7 - Some twisted people in the South. Panels with the coach revealing why no interest from college teams was gut-wrenching

Star Wars: 1 - 2 - OK. Not a big Star Wars fan and certainly no huge fan of Cassaday's art so this is mildly entertaining

Tooth & Claw: 1 - 3 - THIS is a book with much better art. In this one to stay

Wild's End: 5 - Still entertaining. Glad I picked it up though there is really little to no story at all.

Winterworld: 6 - 7 - Tomas Giorello (of the King Conan minis) can make snow & ice lush!!

Wytches: 4 - Really not digging this one from Snyder, I have them on pre-order but it's not clicking for me.

Knew he wanted to prove a point with the art but he revealed himself as a decent writer at the same time.

DC released their May 2015 solicits and Hinterkind # 18 is listed as last issue so no real reason to stick with it.

 

DC has successfully managed to leave me with very very few titles in my pull list: Batman and American Vampire IIRC, two Snyder books. The rest bears no interest to me.

So, started in on the first trade of the Fairest series from Bill Willingham, and thought the start was rather abrupt, but whatever. Then, as I got about 5 whole pages (10 pages) in, I noticed someone ripped out an entire page. I kept going, and did OK enough with comprehension, until just a few more pages in, I see another page ripped out. I went back to the beginning, and saw that someone had neatly torn out the first page of the story. I then went through the book and counted 17 pages torn out of the TPB.

 

WTF??? Someone is a real !!! Now I am out reading this series (for now) and I had the first three trades lined up to read all at once.
