I really love that Doomsday+1 #4 cover. Those were great early Byrne books in General.

Agreed!I picked up #2-5 from board member Ray"gmc"(RIP) and when I sat down to read them I was delighted to find they were all signed by JB on the bottom of the splash! When I called him to ask if he sent the wrong books,he just laughed and said he knew I'd see it because I read all my books, and to enjoy.Great guy...

Hepcat,

I'm only in my late 30s.....so when I say "grew up watching," I mean on Saturday mornings (a couple were aired on weekday mornings or midmorning now and than) when local networks ran reruns of these classics. Than in the late 80s when they started to release episodes of Jonny Quest on VHS.

I basically started to collect Gold Key One shots due to this wonderful nostalgia.

To date Jonny Quest, still is imho:) the best cartoon I have ever watched. Moreover, I have such grand memories watching it with my Father (who got a kick out of originally watching it when it first aired during Primetime) and older Brother. Hence my "quests" to find and slab the best JQ One Shots and all the Comico JQ books that the GREAT Doug Wildey did the covers for and had a hand in: writing, lettering, drawing or inking on.
