Lost in the Andes and Back to the Klondike being two of my absolute favorites. Only a Poor Old Man is also iconically classic. Popular Post AJD
As well as the #56 in the 'wrong' slab from the estate, I also have this, which my wife sourced for me from a curator friend in the US for my birthday one year. Nice, one of the few GA greats that escaped my autograph hunting. At one time I had an US with a stamp that said something like this “If you are in possession of this book, beware it was filched from my personal library. Carl Barks”. I always wanted a book with that stamp. I remember seeing one decades ago.

Popular Post Tom789
Recently acquired from MCS, perhaps from one of you fine folk. Cover detached. As a new collector of GA, I'm continually amazed at how vibrant the colors can remain after 80 years. Its a special moment when you find that book, maybe low grade, that still has cover gloss, great cover inks, and maybe, white pages! My favorite era for WDCS. Big, fat issues with some of the best covers in the run. Most of mine are good presenting lower grade copies with nice pages. I was thinking the price was a bit steep but @Yellow Kid Rich Olson convinced me they were a good buy. I sure miss Rich's advice. Here they are. And consecutive holiday issues. Nice copies! Yeah, Rich loved his Ducks especially in high grade. He told me Leonard Brown willed his high grade WDCS run to him upon his passing. Now that Rich is also gone, I hope that run stays together.
