anyone get an early look at Batman Rebirth? Wondering what Duke's offer was from Batman.

Batman Rebirth should be a hot book. Duke is in the Batcave talking to Batman about being a Robin...

 

 

 

 

and Batman tells him he has something else in mind. A new costume is shown to Duke. No name is given to the suit but Duke is shown wearing it towards the end of the book...

I think he'll go away from the bird names entirely. Would this be the first Batman assistant that has the bat symbol on the costume. I guess he could be the Canary

 

 

he has already worn this costume in a "flashforward" scene. Not sure if was during issue 35 of batman or somewhere during the riddler story, but someone in that suit was featured a while back. Will find the screen shot later unless someone can beat me to it.batman35_4_zpszedcwg2q.jpg

So Im pretty convinced that Miles Morales has a good chance of becoming a big property with Marvel. His 1st appearance and various variants have already took off awhile ago and by no means are slowing down especially with the announcement of the new animated film. Who knows what will happen next with the character, but if you wanna play it safe now's the time to look for some early Mile's books on the cheap with potential growth.

Also it helps that its a very easy book to search on the bay among the ocean of spider-man variants/reprints

It already is. If a copy is selling now for 700.00 it may or may not be at its peak. Too risky of a call for me.

If the character develops as I expect him to than youre right. But if not, Im down 7 bills.

I almost always speculate on stock with potential that has nowhere to go but up

Good call i also believe in the potential of miles. All new ultimate comics spider-man #1 (his first series) can still be found under $20 but the bag makes it hard to get a 9.8 i have went through about 8 and still no 9.8 candidate

But UF #4 has slowed down....alot. It's on an upswing now because of the animated movie announcement.

UF#4 is still a great investment. But even when it first peaked it didnt get past $30-40.

The only thing that it has going for it now is the low census rate for 9.8. But thats NOW. So, still a good book to speculate on, but the print run is much much larger on UF4 than said book on my example.

Dont get me wrong, there are probably others, but that was a book I saw fit to point out because of its currrent low price, small print run, early appearance and current low circulation online
