What are your comic collecting goals for 2016?

Nah, that's not how I roll.

 

I don't mind paying, but trading and THEN buying is how I try and roll.

 

But dealers may feel free to throw slabs at me, no problem there.

First two:

 

Daredevil 1-157 in CGC 9.4 or better. I need two books (#1 and #86) and three upgrades (#7,#72, Annual #3)

 

Byrne Fantastic Four in CGC 9.6+ I've got the run complete, I just need an upgraded Annual 18.

 

Once those are done I'm going to spend a long time not focusing on any one title/genre/whatever. Which means I'll be diving into some of the below:

 

CGC 9.8 Daredevils from 158-300 or so

CGC 9.8 Michael Turner Witchblade

Sourcing and grading CGC 9.8 Wildstorm books (The Authority, Stormwatch, Sleeper, Planetary)

Superman 1-50 (mostly picking off ones at the lower end)

Silver age Marvel Pedigrees.

With recent trades my FOUR COLOR TRADING project now has me at 1020 different issues.

 

I might get a few more trades completed either in December or January.

 

My goal for 2016 will be to break 1100 issues out of the total of 1346( 1354 + 25 first series minus 33 missing issues)

Depending on how the bonus is this year, put some serious effort at my grail. A Frazetta SS. Other than that try to make a nice dent in plugging holes on my Frazetta magazine cover collection.

I think I'd like to maybe finish 95-544. I'm close on that.

 

Then, one bigger book, either an earlier X-Men or something from the newly defined focus.

 

I think I need to keep the collection manageable.

My main focus will be Avengers #2-4 in 9.2 or 9.4 and a good copy of #1 in 8.5 in the next 6-12 months.
