Popular Post WolverineX
Thinking about it, I really liked how simple it was almost continuously following batman viewpoint. Popular Post eastriver400
It was absolutely brilliant. Loved it. Not going to compare it with any other iteration because this was such a different type of movie. You can’t compare Dano’s Riddler to Jim Carrey’s Riddler. Two totally different types of movies. Pattinson was perfect for this role. Absolutely elevated Batman story. Better than I expected. On a side note I love that DC movies can be both The Batman and The Suicide Squad. Why not? William-James88
Looking more at the bat-suit, I see it as a combo of the arkham look (with the armored chest) and Gotham by Gaslight, with the collar and cowl (that seam) Edited March 6, 2022 by William-James88 Bosco685

Bosco685
Box Office: ‘The Batman’ Scores $128 Million, Second-Biggest Pandemic Debut Quote Robert Pattinson’s pitch-black superhero adventure “The Batman” collected a mighty $128.5 million in its box office debut, marking the best opening weekend of 2022 by a landslide. But what is more impressive: it’s only the second pandemic-era movie to cross the $100 million mark in a single weekend, a feat first achieved by “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which launched last December to a historic $260 million. Thanks to positive reviews, strong reception from ticket buyers and high levels of intrigue to see Pattinson’s moody take on the Caped Crusader, “The Batman” is shaping up to be a commercial winner for Warner Bros. That’s good news because the studio shelled out a hefty $200 million to produce the film and spent many millions more in marking and distribution costs. Bringing Batman to the big screen doesn’t come cheap, and achieving profitability won’t be easy. “The Batman” also likely benefitted because the comic book adaptation is playing exclusively in theaters. For Warner Bros., which opted to debut its entire 2021 theatrical film slate simultaneously on HBO Max, “The Batman” marks a deviation as the studio’s first movie in over a year that’s only available to watch in cinemas. “The Batman” lands on HBO Max in 45 days. To include some people on here that were asking when this will be on HBO Max (April) since they still do not go to see films. I'm not going to see it in theaters , and it has nothing to do with "pandemic". I just have no urgency to see it. No Way Home debunked the notion of "pandemic era" box office and the term needs to be permanently retired as an excuse for a movie under performing/flopping. People will go to see movies they want to see. -J.

So I wouldn't jump that fast to assumptions all is well now. They just set aside their concerns due to all the excitement this was going to contain multiple villains and rumors of multiple Spider-Man performers.
