Has there been an update to this lists rankings posting anywhere?

It was last updated on page 103 in January 2023.

But since then there has been some movement on books that would change it today.  For example the ultimate fallout 4 variant had dropped precipitously while the uncanny x-men 510 sketch has spiked.  The 510 sketch would probably be the #2 book now, the spawn 189 sketch likely #3,  #4 the Wolverine 1 deadpool Campbell and the UF 4 variant #5..  The star wars clone wars variant is another one that has fallen quite a bit.

Guys,

The Ultimate Fallout 4 Variant has 200 9.8 copies on census!

200.

This is not a fall from grace. This is delusional speculation and hoarding at its best. 200! No book with 200 9.8s should be valued at $10,000

TMNT 1 has 45 9.8s, which is already a lot. That book should be $35,000

Which means UF4 Variant is a $5,000 book.

These numbers will continue to fall.

This is simply my opinion, but I don't perceive something as rare unless there are less than 20 copies in the top grade. With 200 copies in 9.8, UHF #4 can be purchased at any time.

Yes, while there are multiple copies of the Bronze Trilogy (ASM #129, IH #181, GSX #1) in 9.8, I would argue that these have holding power because they are Bronze first appearances. Here perception plays a strong factor.

Spawn 185 Sketch - 9.2 signed by McFarlane

Recent eBay sale of $14,449.

I'd hate to see what a 9.8 would go for now.

Wow, that's a lot for a 9.2. By that logic, 25K + for a 9.8.

A nice issue and a true gem, but for a very limited niche market. I view it as somewhat similar to the Danger Girl #2 Ruby Red variant  - the rarity can work against the item as largely unknown to many collectors.

So by what you quoted, TMNT #1 9.8 would not be rare.

It may be time to add ASM #20 Uniqlo to the list or grow it a bit depending on what the criteria is.  A copy just sold on Heritage last week for $10,200.  Another copy sold less than a month ago on CLink for $6k.
