Almost twice the amount of pages?

 

Any of this weeks books or variants recommended or you have stopped reading?

 

The jock variant for all star batman and the terry Dodson variant for superwoman are my musts this week.

 

I asked to get 25 Jock variants via reorder today and was told they were not available. Now I'll have to scramble if I want more than I pre-ordered (and I do).

I'm not a fan of Dodson's variant cover, if they had more of the car in it maybe, I find the A cover more visually appealing.

 

I agree on the Jock cover. Also the new Super-Man

Did anyone read the new Deathstroke Rebirth?

 

I'm not great at reviews, but I felt it was on par with Wolfmans original version of Deathstroke, far better than the pants that was churned out it in the last 2 series.

 

I think Priest has done well, and I have high hope for this series

 

 

And finally, Wintergreen is back

This is the only Rebirth I own so far.. I was going to buy 2 but dang the prices on this are getting a bit crazy.

The usual suspects this week. Justice League better improve though it's living in the shadow of the excellent Darkseid War from N52. If it doesn't improve soon I'm going to drop it. Too many quality titles in Rebirth so far to waste money on mediocrity.

Batman #5 wrapped up the first 4 issues nicely. Snyder was great and more grounded but this is more exciting much in the way the old Knightfall run was in it's day. Fun title with consequences.

I'm interested in the young animal line coming soon. Looks like there could be some really good reads in those hopefully. For me so far it is:

 

Wonder Woman- diggin it

Batman- read #1 and have not bought another issue since

Detective- 2 issues in and I'm kinda - I want dark Batman Detective stories, not a team book

Green Lanterns-1 issue and ugh

Hal Jordan- have not read it yet

Superman- 1st 3 were ok to me, but I feel compelled to buy this book anyhow because Gleason is a great artist IMO

Nightwing was good. Justice League was the best issue so far, it's building slow I guess. Good to see though.
