Do it. Go for it. Overpay if you have to (at the time, I did for mine. And I've never regretted it.) It really is one of 'those' books you just have to own if you are a Pre-Code fan. The interior is just so amazingly sick that it matches the cover. I've had my VG for probably close to 20 years, and it's going to the grave with me.

question: whats better then having one low grade copy of FAC 20?

of course two low grade copies!

ones a good and the other a fair copy

Here's my copy; I've got pretty much a full run of the title, starting at about #5.

 

 

I sold this copy on eBay last spring for a buck and a half. It was coverless, with a copy of the front and back covers, both inside and out; looked very realistic. Notice the grey across the top of the cover, and the lighter blue background, as compared to the original.

nice copy Fifties, I have the full run of FAC, I'd love to have a nice vg copy of issue 20 just never

came across one, just these two low grade copies.

Speaking of Bailey, Here's a recent pick up from Octobers fast and furious sales thread. Its a romance book that I normally don't collect but when I saw it,

it struck a chord on the similarities of Bailey's WM #12 cover. That coupled with the story title "My Love Was Dying" was enough for me to snag it!

 

 

Wow. Didn't even notice that.

 

Now I kind of want it back to go with my WM 12.
