After 25 minutes of extended bidding on the AMF 2.2, I am out. Congrats to the winner of this endurance contest, whoever you are.

2600 pretty cheap, even for the conserved...

What I was saying was there was no bidding at the end, the book had been at 38.5k for a few days.  Last bid was Saturday I think.

I kind of figured that. Was just having a little fun. The Action stole the spotlight tonight book wise. Wonder if the 'Tec will be the same nail bitter experience?

9800 and going...it can be unrestored to about a 5.0 I was told...so 2K a point is about right...but again, I'm happy with my copy so I didn't persue...but 2 folks are!

why would you ext your bid when your high bidder with few seconds left

Beats me, but I suspect that's what happened..

I believe if the next increments are by $2,000, it would then forced his competitor to go to $397K on his next bid in order to top yours.  If he left it at $393, he would be the one that would have to go to $397 to get the top bid.

At least that's my take on his bidding strategy.  hm
