How does that work if he's charging less than he bought em for?

Is he the cash buyer or take them in as trade? If he did buy, did he pay cash or burn up some inflated house credit from sales in years past?

Not everything is 1:1, though HA is likely fine with that perception being widespread 😉

He's even got a couple of reverse flips in here!

Looks like the wax discoloration in the paste-ups were more accurately shown in his CAF listing. I'd have been severely bent out of shape if I had bought a piece of art and the seller had Photoshopped it to make the discoloration not look as apparent in the listing as it is in-hand. Maybe that's the reason for the reverse flip? There's a big difference between "Toned" and "Toasty".

I think it would be funny if someone has the cojones to out themselves on a piece they bought and immediately listed for a flip. I'd call a truce and offer immunitylol and I think LeeB would sanction that. If you have the receipts it would make it funnier. What made me think of this a memebr here about 4 years back bought a piece and instantly regretted it. He offered it lower to get rid of it. How about a piece you immediately disliked but were too stuborn to just get your money back so you put it up for sale but at a higher price out of anger (and perhaps a bit of hubris.) Or for example: You bought a page (bargain) at what you knew was a huge discount with lots of meat left and couldn't resist. Or whatever.

Oh man, I have definitely been tempted on a few pieces recently.  I bought and was immediately offered double on two particular pieces.  Each case was VERY tempting.  There was a third piece that was purchased and immediately traded as a friend collected that particular genre and had something that fit my wheelhouse.  In the end, it worked out for both parties.

I have two pieces listed on auction for that express purpose, but instead of a flip, it may end up being more like a face plant. lol

This just sold on Wednesday for $4080 with juice. Now it can be yours at Comicartlive for a mere $7500. Can this piece truly be in hand already? 😂
