@therealsilvermane
Martin Scorsese's theme park rides movie metaphor actually applies more to Star Wars movies than it does to the MCU.

It's also got the only WTF MUST REWATCH OVER AND OVER moment of the Disney era with that Vader hallway sequence. It's my favorite scene from any Star Wars movie, period. But you are not a Jedi yet.” Visually, the fight between Luke and Vader in Bespin contained so many great things. We get a glimpse of Vader’s mastery of the Force not to mention a brutal lightsaber duel. Emotionally it was a powerhouse with probably one of the biggest bombshell twists of all time. (And this was well before twists were really a ‘thing’). I have spoken. bane, Rip, mr_highgrade and 1 other

Vader was particularly stiff in the original trilogy, so when Ray Park as a martial artist and stuntman took up the role of Darth Maul and was jumping around dynamically my mind was absolutely blown. After that I can't look at any original trilogy lightsaber battle with any affection. That's why the Rogue One Vader sequence was so awesome--Vader instantaneously transformed from overrated to the biggest badass in the galaxy. @therealsilvermane
This reviewer says there’s no such thing as a “great” Star Wars movie. Hmm... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2019/12/18/movies/star-wars-the-rise-of-skywalker-review.amp.html I think, from a certain point of view, right he is. THIS is not normal behavior. Yet is strongly encouraged through very wise marketing campaigns. Even the Avengers actors have called this out. Though then they must have been asked to delete their posts. Don Cheadle actually responded to that fan rewatching Endgame by his 116th viewing 'Aren't there other movies you want to see?' But then later on he deleted it. exactly. It's celebrated more often than not. It's absurd. I pity these fools
