This book was a hard one for me to find in higher grade (now only 3 on the CGC Census with this being the only CGC Blue). This is likely a "Dollar box" book, so not all that many of this book were likely saved in great condition over the past 11 years. However, I wanted to add a CGC copy to my preliminary pencils of this cover by Mike Grell.

Those are all lovely. FF 120 has always been one of my favorite covers. It's a picture frame, a BLACK one at that, and the image of Gabriel the Air Walker just trucking right along in the air, man, it's such a great image.

Quite excited to add this golden age gem that I was after for a while into my collection.  Ghost Rider #4 (1950) with an awesome Frank Frazetta cover. A large tear in the front cover but incredible colors and all attached and complete.

Buscema did some amazing interior panels too. Seeing Johnny Storm go supernova for the first time as a kid blew me away. Gabriel wasn’t as impressed. 🤣

I was in my hometown visiting my parents and stopped by the LCS. (Which I hate for so many reasons.) 

After back bin diving for a while I found two low grade copies of some issues I've been wanting. Cheap too which is unheard of with this store. Generally everything is overpriced (even in today's market) and multiple copies of an issue will all be priced the same, no matter if their grades run from GD to NM.

Anyways, I got the first appearances of Conan and Wolverine.

Struck out in the Feb Clink auction, everything I was after went for silly money, so this cushioned the blow.

Some recent pickups - pulled the RWBY from a Walmart pack:

 

Also, I was the sole bidder on this following lot on eBay. The starting bid amount was $150, and high starting bids can sometimes deter bidders, but I felt like it was a decent deal - these are 9.8 contenders, and I've seen Batman 635 in worse condition than this one sell by itself for as much or close to what I paid for the lot (more in some cases). For what it's worth, the listing didn't call out 635 - it was listed as "Batman 634-641 + Annual 25" - maybe it would have gotten more eyes if 635 was in the listing? I don't know, I'm just happy I got it...
