(Rick  strolls in,  swinging   a  big  UGLY  STICK)

All  right  gang,   time  to get UGLY!

I still  have  twenty   ugly  books  to  work  through,   so  let's  get  started  and  tear  through  them.

Star Spangled  Comics 94

Coverless,   CFO,  but  the Robin  story (with  Batman  featured)  is  complete,  as  is the  Manhunter  story and  the Tomahawk  tale in the back.
Plenty  of  wear,   couple  pieces out  RH  edge  P 1,  one of  which  barely  brushes  the art.

Nice  reader  for $5

No  further plans for the evening,  I'm  working  on  paperback scans for  my  other  thread  over  in  Mixed.
Any  fans of  Ace  Doubles  hereabouts?  I'll be listing some pretty ones.

Greetings,  Gang!

Estate  sale  was  a  dry hole,  all  I bought  was  a  four  foot  folding  work  table.   Eight  bucks  was  a good  price though,
I just paid  about $40  for one  at  Menards.   Bad timing,  that...

Got  a  couple  Disneys  to  post,   and  then I'm  probably  done  until     9  PM  or so,  while  we take  care of the  neighborhood  extortionists,  lol

Donald  Duck  Fun  Book  #1

Considerably  better  shape than I  usually  see  these,  this copy has  a  touch  of spine  roll,   stress  lines  along  the  spine  FC,
and about 15 pages  inside  have  pencil  in the  puzzle  pages,  mostly   connect the  dots  and mazes.  But usually  I  find  them  hacked
apart,  with  all the  cutouts  and activity  pages  cut up.

Tight,   glossy,   white pages.  touch of  rubbing  lower  center  BC.  Owner's stamp  FC.  Scan  if anyone wants one.

Asking  $150  for  an above  average copy  SOLD!  per PM!

Donald Duck Fun  Book 2

Very  similar  shape  to  #1.

Bit  more  spine  roll,    the same stress  lines  along the spine FC,   only  six or seven  penciled   puzzles,  once again
connect the dots and mazes. No cutouts  or   hacking inside.   More gloss,  less  wear,   tight   with  white  pages,   same  owner's stamp  FC.

Asking  $100  SOLD!  per PM!

Oh,  why  not.  I have  a  few minutes.

I  recently stumbled  across  a little  cache  of   fall-over  gorgeous   50's  Westerns.  Does anyone still pursue  these?
I'm  going  to post  a   couple  samples,   if  anyone is interested  I  have  more  Cisco  Kids,  Roy Rogers,  Gene Autrys,  and
a smattering of other titles,  all  about this pretty.   Let me know if  you want me to post more of them.

Cisco  Kid 31

Flat,  clean,  tight  spine  and CF,   glossy. White pages.   There are a  couple  NCB  light  dogears   lower  RH  FC,
very likely  not  visible in  scan  that  would likely  press  down  to zero,  and  a whiff of  general  wear.  White pages.

EDIT:   if you hold  the book  juuuust  right  in  bright light  the  smaller  dogear just  barely breaks color.

Asking $30,  FIRM

Four Color 538

The Mask of Zorro

This  was published in 1954,  well before the  Disney  TV  show

Flat,   clean,  tight,  glossy,  white  pages,  once again   a whiff  of  general  wear.

Asking  $50 FIRM
