Now,  Comcav.  Be nice.  You  KNOW  that   gunsmokin  is   a  delicate   sort,  and  we  don't  need  any  tears  dripping  onto  comic books,
now  do  we?

Behave  yourself  or  I'll  be  forced  to  call  your  mother in,   and  we  all  know what happens  THEN,  don't  we?

You can get her out on parole?  Woo hoo!

Superboy 51

some general  wear.    Otherwise flat  and tight,  glossy,  offwhite pages.

I  sure  wish  those 1950's kids  would  have  learned  to  store  their  comics  away  from  the  downspouts...

Asking  $20  for  a  solid  reader.

Maybe  I just got lucky?

Flat,  clean,   square,   glossy, tight  with  white  pages.    Touch  of  minor general  wear,  thats' it.

Spirit  section,   Detroit News, 9-22-40.

FC  has a  little  sprinkle of  something  that  dried  hard  and stuck  to the paper,   some  mook  tried  to  peel  a  few  off
and ended  with  "tape" style  pulls.   Otherwise tight with  white  pages.

Let's  list  a  few  comic books,   shall  we?

Harvey Hits 6

Featuring  The Phantom

Harvey  did  several  issues  of   The  Phantom  in  the  1950's,  predating  by  a  decade or better  the  Gold  Key/Charlton  series of  the  60's and 70's.

This copy  has  a  bit  of  spine  roll,    several  light  folds upper  RH FC,  teensy  corner of  lower  RH  FC,   general  wear. Still has nice gloss,   tight  spine  and  CF,
white  pages.   Solid  lower  grade  copy  that  displays  nicely.

Asking  $20

Walt Disney Christmas Parade

Golden   Press,   1977,   224  pages

Beautiful  squarebound   book,  flat,   square,     clean,  tight,   glossy,   bone  white  pages. To my  eye,  this  appears   completely  unread, fresh off the  shelf.
I  got  a  similar copy  from   the  same  fellow  a  few years back,   I  suspect  he  has  an  untouched  case  tucked  away  somewhere in his  warehouse.

Asking  $45  for  this  little  beauty,  FIRM

Yellow  Claw 2

Tape along  entire spine  inside  FC,  small corner off upper  RH  BC, small corner off upper  RH   FC,   heavy  Marvel  chipping  along   RH edge FC,
water  spots  here  and  there  across  FC,   only  visible  inside.  Otherwise   tight  with  offwhite pages,  still  a bit of gloss.
Nice  John Severin  cover,   Kirby  interiors.

This  is  a  rerun  from  a  previous thread,   so  let's  price it to  MOVE.

Asking  $50  SOLD!

All right  Gang,   that's  it for  the  evening,   back  tomorrow  with  a  PCH  book  or  two,  and more  interesting  oddball  comics,   plus  more  weird  paper
over  in  the Mixed   Thread.

G'night!
