My collection begins with #2 and ends with #223 (the 2nd and last Atomic Knights cover...which is a reprint story). There are many gaps in-between those two books. Still a decent amount of time left. Last sale I could find was this exact copy sold for $990 in a Dec. 2019 Heritage auction. Tough book to get in that grade. I was considering the CBCS 9.4 you’re talking about and resubbing, but wasn’t sure I felt it would retain the 9.4 grade looking at it. Weird how the snowman cover is more popular than the cover with Captain Comet, but then the Deadman cover is even pricier. I found a beater copy of #79 at the LCS about a month ago and put it up on Ebay. It sold for nearly $250, so I wasn't surprised to see your 5.5 copy go for over $600. Yeah it’s just a super tough book to find in nice condition, rare in general and is a pretty sought after front cover. Definitely thought the 18 would do better also but such is life lol. Well managed to get a higher grade copy, selling in the next Featured C-Link auction.
