In the process of re-bagging some of my books and thought I would take a quick photo while they were out. I am working on my B&B 1-24 collection and so far have 17 of the 24. Always loved these pre-hero books and only have seven more to complete the run. I still have some really HTF issues left to go, but hopefully will be able to complete this set at some point. Here is what I have so far. It’s been one year since I posted the above picture of my pre-hero Brave & Bold collection so I thought that I would post an update of where my collection stands a year later. I picked up three books that I did not have: B&B #7, CGC 7.0 B&B #18, CGC 7.5 (thanks Brad!) B&B #21, CGC 8.0 I also managed to upgrade a few: B&B #4, from a 6.5 to a 7.0 B&B #15, from a 6.5 to a 7.5 B&B #19, from a 6.5 to a 7.5 B&B #24 from a 6.0 to a 7.5 So I only have four more issues to go to complete the run — #’s 2, 8, 12 and 16. — all tough books to find in the grade I want. Also, I would like to upgrade the 6.5’s if the right book comes along. Anyway, I will keep plugging along, and hopefully, complete the run at some point. There are some really tough issues in your run! I need to take a nice group shot of my 1-24, that looks great! The toughest issue you still need is #2...by far the toughest. The pre-hero Brave and the Bold issues that I covet the most on an aesthetic basis are #17 and #24.

Issue #2 will be, by far, the hardest and most expensive issue to find in 7.0 or better. There are four in 7.0, and one in 7.5 and 8.0. I know where the 8.0 is and would have to stand in line to get that one. Hopefully, one of the other #2's will come up and nobody will notice and I can get it for under $100. Well, probably have to add, at least, another zero to that. Hepcat, I have found that B&B #32 & 33 are much harder to find in decent shape than the #31. I have owned several #31's, including a beautiful 9.0 that I think another boardie now owns. I currently have an 8.0 that's nice, but haven't seen a high grade 32 or 33 in a long time. I love the first three appearances of Cave Carson!!! Edited April 6 by RickHigh Math Teacher, hchill25, mysterymachine and 1 other

Silver
If you want to spend the bucks, here’s a 9.0 #32. Myself I have an 8.0 I’ve had a long time. I’ve always thought the 31 was the most difficult of the three personally. I have a raw 9.0 I picked up a couple of years ago after owning lower graded copies. https://comicbookaddiction.com/products/brave-and-the-bold-1955-1st-series-dc-32-cgc If that 7.0 number two ever comes up there will probably be a bidding war. RickHigh
Silver, your three B&B's are beautiful. They look so nice together and especially look great not slabbed. Love 'em. And yes, I'm sure there would be a bidding war for a 7.0 B&B #2, I'm sure, and not just between you and me . That 9.0 a #32 for sale is a bit out of my range. I checked GPA and the last sale recorded for that book in 9.0 was $900 in June of '23. That's quite a jump in price. It's a pretty book though. Oh my. that 9.2 with WHITE pages is gorgeous. I might pay $2595 for that one!!! Edited April 6 by RickHigh

Hepcat
Three more: The above issue #36 was graded 8.5 VF+ by CGC. I'd happily buy such 8.5 graded comics all day! Sadly all 8.5's aren't as nice.
