Filling my free time before my flight, I walk into a random comic book store and find this. The price was very right, WP, centered. Sweet!

I saw an interview with Neal where he mentions this book and Detective 412, which would be a nice book for you to get in 9.2 to go with this awesome one. Tec 412 would be much easier to find. I've been looking for this Tomahawk 116 in 8.5 or better for years. Not an easy find.

I like 412 and have had very high grade copies of it but it’s not on my top 10 list of Adams covers. Tomahawk 116 on the other hand, is the holy grail for Adams covers imho. There’s nothing like it in hand and that includes Neal’s classic Bats, Tecs, and Supes covers. It was also the most challenging of Neal’s greatest covers for me to get. My fingers are crossed for you to get one! It’s a must have for any Adams collector.

I think I have to agree about that holy grail thought. Its tough to find graded or raw in anything better than mid grade. Its the kind of book that if any come around 9.0 or better best bid like an insane person and hope no one else is as crazy. I think I'm gonna grab the next graded on that comes around at least in 5.0

This is my Adams Horror grail. Tough to find high grade. Got it reslabbed last year.  Love the colors and the mood he creates.  There are 4 9.6's out there but as far as I can see the last one sold was 16 years ago.

I like gargoyles. Grew up in an old house that had them carved all over the walls. My favorite HOM covers are 175 also and 178 and HOS is 88. Took me years to find these.Seems we have similar taste
