When this passed $27.5k, atleast I think that’s what page 5 sold for once, it became the highest price ever paid for a single page. Now it’s entering another universe at the current price and whatever it may keep going for. Action 1 and specifically Superman pages of course, just the record breaking gift that keeps on giving. It seems Action Comics 1 Superman pages defy reality no matter the PQ, but especially pages 1 and 5. And as far as hunting for a coverless copy, I mean truthfully you’re just not going to find one. But if you do, expect to spend around $150K-$200K easy. So quite a bit more. It’s a rogue piece from a different page, but regardless its source, the eye appeal is adversely affected.
