Tell me about the one on the right.  Interested.

I will have to look at it in the morning and see what information I have on it. These came from my father when he passed.

The most groundbreaking thing to come out of this 'upgrade' is that we now officially know who mod1 is.

It at least takes away suspicion off others.

Where exactly are you seeing this as I must be getting totally lost with the intricacies of these new boards here. :(

Needless to say, shall we simply say that a certain Mod has absolutely zero sense of humor and will send you to the CGC sin bin for almost absolutely no reason at all.    :censored:

Somehow, I suspect I might be banished for the rest of this year just for posting this comment here.  (tsk)

That is awesome.  I knew it was early.  I am pretty sure it has a tag , but will still check in the morning.  I acquired a lot of his collectibles when he passed as the rest of the family wasn't interested.  There were these, the robbie robot, Roy Rogers Lunch pail, comics. A bunch of stuff:cloud9:

That is interesting that we both got these from our fathers.  It was part of what inspired my disney collection.Which now my daughter loves.20170516_183706.thumb.jpg.3ae3b564c7a953a963ff1a4fc5720b1c.jpg20170517_221413.thumb.jpg.b62ed2c39fe7075980ad560f127ee136.jpg20170517_222431.jpg.cbfa8b13a2f44516f972bcd9be9d3db0.jpg20201217_223419.thumb.jpg.7ede39a55d49716799508dac08025c2c.jpg20170517_223907.thumb.jpg.2e78a05437dd5c03b39f32a81b57160b.jpg

Yours was your dad's.  Mine was something that they brought home for me.  However, I do have something of my dad's that I do not know if he realizes I currently possess.

I have his Lionel train trestle.  I used them in the Lego train layout downstairs in the basement. heh heh.  He has been down there several times helping me with things and he either doesn't notice or he doesn't want to say anything.

It's all in the thread Lou, but FYI, the avatars have a little 'badge of honour'  in the bottom middle, rather like my avatar but a lot smaller.

As for your second point...respectfully....no comment.

All of the lithographs in the back row were commemorative lithos from the Disney VHS releases.  They were available ONLY if you preordered the VHS release OR you were a castmember at the time and walked off with a crate of them after the remaining stock were thrown away in a dumpster after the preorder.

I want to thank the Disney company for helping me pay for my college books back in 1997 once I resigned to work somewhere else.  I started selling my castmember loot on Prodigy, AOL and then eBay in its early days.    Those Snow White lithos were worth their weight in gold back then.

I still have some stuff from that time period like my name badge which I smuggled out of the store and a few other items.

Thanks for the memories with those.   I have not seen those in years.

True. I got to play with the marionettes when I was younger, but it was not bought for me. I too have my fathers trains. His were HO scale and I also ended up with his Layout which unfortunately was never finished. 20201217_224433.thumb.jpg.9b6a11735a4f1d45d1e218c974cb46ee.jpg20201217_224447.thumb.jpg.e8c1af38ccb16cc9683553b1e689022b.jpg20201217_224501.thumb.jpg.b2fd071dbd281f3cddd0a016085b11b2.jpg20201217_224512.thumb.jpg.fdb9d4ee4189ea982503e5bacb1d24ca.jpg20201217_224531.thumb.jpg.c2684f2d8599461b6d5e283e962577e0.jpg20201217_224542.thumb.jpg.1d1a0a3ddff3fe7659b481b78a03ec60.jpg20201217_224557.thumb.jpg.0545d7f16849f5cd003af00abe03d20a.jpg

He loved the B&O as that is where he started working. Eventually moving to Florida and switching to CSX with whom he retired.  Most of the more expensive trains we had to sell off two months after Dad passed as Mom was diagnosed with cancer. Since she has had two different diagnoses of cancer , but with experimental treatments it currently is in remission.
