The consignor may have wanted it to be put up in the same auction as his other Spideys.

In the last auction, I had a couple of books that Heritage wanted to go into the Platinum session, but my preference was that they go up together on the 2nd day with related "lesser" books which didn't meet their Platinum admission standards. 

I don't think it really makes a difference which day books go up on auction anymore.  Interested bidders are there for all days, and nothing slips through anymore.  Once upon a time, bargains could be found on the last day for books with no live floor auction, but no longer.
