19 Universal copies & 3 "others", and the oldest comic book in my collection graded or not.

It's the early dawn of pulp grading, so no it's surprise this is the only copy on the census. It's also the second oldest book in the title with only the March 1938 issue of Astounding Science-Fiction being older among graded copies.

This was part of a mystery box in the old PIF thread. I believe there are only 8 in the census.

I've gotten an appreciation for Wow Comics and some Mary Marvel over the last year.  Grabbed the Rockford copy of #22, which is the sole highest-graded copy at a 9.6 out of 12 total graded copies, as well as the Rockford #25, which is tied with the Mile High at a 9.6 for the highest-graded copy out of only 8 graded copies.

I also have a 6.0 of Wow #29, which is slightly more common with 19 copies -- my 6.0 fits snugly in the middle of those graded (tied with one other, and with 9 better and 8 worse).

One more graded pulp, Wonder Stories #61 published in August 1935 is the only one on the census. Oddly enough it's also the newest of the 9 graded issues in the title.

I hadn't realized Strange Adventures #14 was near the 50 copy limit.   So with 49 copies on the census, it's time to mention it before more appear.

Granted this book is not on the census yet, but still - only 28 as of today! Its in rough shape but this rare/scarce comic is a joy to have for any Flash collector! I am giving myself the elusive Quadruple Dancing Bananas designation for acquiring this hard to find gem!

Picked this up at auction. Only 32 total copies in the census across all grades and counting purple label ones.

Not many 1980's Marvel's with Census Pops as low as these as well as general lack of interest. Even CGC did not care enough about them to give them the "last issue" notation
