Update : 23k. SOLD.  Congrats to CC and to the consigner and buyer. 

Actually another page 5 but much nicer previously sold for the most ever, $27.5K, just beating the page 1 you referenced. I kinda thought this one would break the previous page 5 since that last sale was several years ago. Guess the condition ultimately kept it down.

Yeah. It seems the best deals to be had for GA's is on CC and CL lately because HA has just been killing it.

Holy Cow !  That book was a beauty. That's a low hammer price !  Did that include the BP also ??  I'd think twice these days before going anywhere but Heritage.

I think it's a bad sign if a book as important to the hobby as Action 13 can't even make OPG pricing.

re: Action 13, let's not go overboard. The 1.0 finished in line with a recent sale, and the 5.0 had Light Tan pages. I assume with 3 buyers of low grade AC13's in the last few months, there were not so many buyers left to drive it up.

Just got wind there are an ADDITIONAL 2 books on the census ?  1 of each (AC 1 & TEc 27). Can anyone confirm ?

According to Valiantman's amazing site, a restored Action 1 6.5 and a restored D27 7.0 went on the census between August 17 and August 24.

There's also a new a 6.5 restored Detective #38.

It's not AC1 or DC27, but there is a universal 9.4 Nickel Comics #1 as well.

I use Halloween as a purge time for some of the extra books I get  when I purchase lots or collections of books.  What most people refer to as reader copies and drek become what I pass out to the trick or treat knockers.  (As well as one of the local churches Trunk or Treat. )
