See, this is my problem with this. Tim Drake being gay isn't an issue for me. But we all know the media will say "Robin Comes Out!" without making the distinction between Grayson and Tim Drake. Now we all know what Wertham was insinuating- that Batman was a child molester. Because Robin from 1940 until around 1969 portrayed the character as somewhere between 12-15. Wertham writing that Batman and Robin were,.as he put it, "a wish dream for homosexuals", was incredibly bigoted, because he was basically saying that all homosexual men were really pederasts. Now all of the old jokes about Batman and Robin being....I won't use the word... will be popular again,. and to me the idea that Batman had sexual plans for a young boy he adopted is repulsive. I never liked the jokes and screw Wertham for.taking an innocent adventure comic and turning it into something dirty.
