Popular Post RBerman
We've all heard (or experienced) stories of good art from yesteryear that sold for pennies at the time but is worth a fortune now and has looked great all along. The good news is that cheap art is still plentiful, perhaps now more than ever. What are some pieces that you've acquired recently for under $500? I'll get the train rolling with this splash page by Brian Hitch and Paul Neary from The Ultimates (2003) #10. Captain America is planting explosives on a train controlled not just by Nazis, but by alien Nazis. The worst kind! What will you choo-choose to share? Rick2you2
By Howard Chaykin from City of Tomorrow. This is, without a doubt, the goriest page I own. What caught my eye was the "head shot"--whew. About 2 years ago, as I recall, it was $250. Popular Post The Voord
I'm mostly into collecting Movie Poster paintings nowadays. Some stuff I've acquired over the last two years, all under $500 a pop. Rick2you2, delekkerste, cloud cloddie and 2 others
RBerman
Bill Reinhold was delighted I wanted to buy his portrait of Alex Toth a few days ago. I was delighted it was only $100. Now you can be delighted by it too! lb jefferies and hmendryk

RBerman
Mayhew for a Morlock price sounded more than fair to me. It's Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson from a youth novel illustration. Harry is none too pleased in the background. They look like actual high schoolers for a change! Grant Turner
One of my favorite pieces I own is the preliminary drawing to the first appearance of Kid Loki. I bought it for $15 and I paid an additional $15 for shipping. Easily the best $30 I ever spent Twanj and John E.
