RBerman
I learned the hard way to be leery of the authenticity of secondhand commissions. But the price was reasonable on this piece attributed to Nick Cardy. It's at least attractive, whatever its provenance.
Will_K
I saw this during ComicArtLive. It's definitely by Nick. But it is unusual in that I don't recall him drawing WG's face in that particular way, narrower than usual. Still, I like it. I sold it for a friend who had been attending comic conventions all over the country since the 60s. It was not his only Cardy -- I have one in my own collection I got from him. I've been collecting comic art for 43 years and I value my reputation, so if something seems the least bit off to me, I won't buy or sell it. alxjhnsn, John E., RBerman and 1 other 3

I just got burned a couple of years ago by a collector who really thought he had a Kirby, but it turned out otherwise. Good to hear about this one's provenance. RBerman
As long as we're on the topic, here are the other two pieces I got (Ernie Chan and Ramona Fradon) at that time, which I believe came from the same collection. Definitely Ramona. Chan seems plausible, but I’m not particularly knowledgeable in his case.

RBerman
I am among those who liked Star Trek III, so it was fun to pick up this Estrada/Villagran page that pretty much quotes the film dialogue verbatim. BCarter27
RBerman
Michael Bair did some solid work for an "X-Men vs Mojo and Spiral" story from 1994 that was supposed to have been published in an NFL-related magazine. That didn't happen for some reason, and even together, these two pages are in the Morlock end zone.
