I had Dena set up an e-mail drip campaign.  I thought I might be able to use it for this purpose but, it would have been almost as much work as doing it manually.  I ended up using it to send new users a greeting PM when they make their first post.  It sends PM's automatically, and I get no notifications seems I am the one sending it.  Occasionally, someone will reply.   I turned that off for the grading contest.  It surely would have overloaded my PM inbox.  

I may send out reminders if only a handful have failed to send their grades, and there's little time to spare.  No promises, though.

I cant handle 10 PMs dont see how hundreds could be managed.

My intent wasn't to be mean-spirited...just a joke.   I am rarely on the boards as well compared with up to a few years ago.  Just perhaps a reminder when you do come (like I do) bounce around a bit to see what's going on.  Welcome to the boards belatedly at least from me.

So, around my house when we are playing a game with scoring, when announcing the scores, we have a thing we do to avoid embarrassing someone who is doing poorly - or, if I'm honest, to pick at them if they are last even if they aren't doing that badly.

I would propose that at a certain threshold, it just be reported that, for example,

"ttfitz is also playing."
