Kind of reminds me of the story I heard going around the boards when I first joined. I never knew the specifics, but it had something to do with a board member stealing another board member's wife.

Anyone else feel this could just be a deflection tactic?

I didn't get to see the performance, so I can't have a valid opinion. However, having grown up watching this kind of drama constantly unfold before my eyes, my views on humanity are a bit more hard than most. I've seen a lot of crocodile tears to get out of blame

Nah. I think he got acetated & left for dead. CGC crushed his dreams by pulling the rug out from under him with their new green label policy, and Crain rides off on that now magic carpet with his wife to the next in-house CGC signing.  

Who’s to blame?

Clearly it’s the influencers.  Had they not felt the need to show off their comic book celebrity to the crowds, and instead got their stacks of books out of view of an audience....this poor mans life wouldn’t have been ruined.

Has the comic book realm felt this much drama in 1 year before? CGC and CBCS both making dumb@$$ decisions, and now one of the groups involved in one of those dumbace decisions is involved in a classic cuckold?

With that said, it's plainly obvious that CGC has engaged in pay for grades for sure once (Bad Idea) and probably twice (Black Flag) that we know of so something is going on.

You are assuming they were impartial all along. At some point, isolated incidents become a pattern.

Unless you kidnap them, you can't steal someone elses wife.

Whilst he may have made self serving business decisions that we mocked on these boards it is tough to see another human experiencing this level of emotional pain.
Two of the closest people in his life made plans together behind his back.
(his business partner and his wife)

As anyone that has been through any experience similar can relay...over time he will recognize the signs and realize he was slowly losing both.
He just couldn't see it.

Just watched the YT video and at 4:26 he says some really scary things.
He needs his family and friends right now.

I agree 💯

He may have made some poor choices but he is feeling right now like he lost everything.

Hope those still close to him are keeping a watchful eye.
