I have 8 CGC books that are just straining at the leash  :headpat: to be in a grading contest. I will provide front and back scans for each book. Some of the books do not have
scans before the book was graded. In those cases I will provide a photo of the back of the book along with my comments listing the flaws that are not visible through the slab.

The number of entries will be capped at 30 contestants, so get your entry in quickly.

The scoring for this contest are as follows:

Bullseye = 0 points
1 grade off = 1 points
2 grades off = 2 point
3 grades off = 3 points and so on.  You do not want to venture any further into so on. :violin:

The contest will be held in the PGM thread.

To give everyone in the contest a better chance of winning, the number of entries will be limited to the first 30 who enter the contest.
To enter simply send me a PM with your board name and grading contest. Use this same PM to send your grades in for each round. Use the numeric system
for your submitted grades.


I'll post the books in three consecutive rounds. On Wednesday night (11/23), I will start the Round 1 thread and post scans for the first 3 books,  and you'll have 3 days to grade them, at which point the round will close and I'll post the graded books.

The second round (2 books) will start on Saturday November 26th.
The  third and final round (3 books) will start on November 29th.
The final reveal and the contest winner will be announced on Friday December 2. :banana:

Send me a PM with your grades (make the title "[your username] Grading Contest") and I'll record them. Please send only one PM with all of your
grades and use the same thread for future rounds. Once your grades are submitted you cannot change them.

Please do not check the CGC census for this contest. It is to be you and your grading skills against your fellow competitors.  :wishluck:

The player with the lowest score, remember it's like golf the lower your score the better, who will win $25 Pay pal from me.
If there are ties for first place, the tying contestant with the highest number of bullseyes will be declared the winner. If there are still ties, I will divide up the winnings for each person tied at the top.

The contest will be held in the PGM thread. I will post the books for round 1 at 7 PM Central time this coming Wednesday. The end of each round will also be at 7 PM central time for the dates mentioned above. The start for each round will also be at 7 PM Central time. give or take a few minutes.

Thanks for the tag, Addy, but I think I'll pass on this one. With only 30 spots, it deserves to be fought out by those with skill, and that ain't me. lol
