cgcsketcherz Posted December 29, 2023 Share Posted December 29, 2023 Motor City Comic Con had in attendance Alice Cooper, Jim Cummings, and Rob Paulsen. Matthew Parton was up to the task for a Scooby mashup. His only request was that he could add muppets and Sesame Street to it cause it would fit his idea so I agreed. The only problem was that show was in 2020 so, Covid cancelled the show. I could have had Rob and Jim sign this at least a dozen times over if not more but I kept holding off. With my luck, Alice Cooper would have a last minute appearance when this book was at CGC, another show, in the mail, or you get the picture... Rich Henn had a last minute horror show in November and he was only taking requests from one person. Finally got Alice Cooper and was just glad he didn't say no since it is a bit cartoony. I'm curious to see if artist direct submissions will change in 2024 with CGC requiring an electronic form when sending books to facilitators for conventions. Regardless, I'm glad this got sorted out.
