I had an issue yesterday and I could not sign in until I agreed to the legalese pop up that wouldn't go away.

Same here, all the login problems started after that.

I had problems logging in yesterday where I'd log in and it would kick me out, I just restarted my phone as that's what I use and logged in successfully the first time after that.

In the past, when I signed on to the main page and then open up the chat boards from there, both boards would be signed in.

Now it seems that the chat boards are signed in independently of the main board.

Still happening. I'm out. I'll try again this weekend. Hopefully they'll have fixed it by then.

My experience is similar to this.  Since I had to agree to the legalese yesterday, I seem to get signed out about every two hours.  Prior, I might get logged out every 5-7 days.

I'm also having to log into the chat boards independently. (Also booing...)  But I don't seem to need to logout before logging in again on either the main site or the chat board.

Whenever I get a notification, if there's a popup, it's always (usually?) for the same old PM, but going to the Notifications bell at the top of the page shows the actual notification.

Sort by unread. I bet you have some unread PMs.

This should work.  After you click on the envelope, click on go to inbox.  Then, choose sort by unread in the dropdown menu.  Click on the unread PM's, and you should be all set.  If you continue to have problems with this, send me a PM, and I will try to fix it for you.

It's been happening for a long while.  When coming to the site, the remember me box isn't always acknowledged.  Many attempts to fix it have failed.

This just worked for me. Why it all of a sudden started happening I have no idea. But thanks for that because it was highly annoying.

Hi Mike, I think this is different.  Since I agreed to the new CGC terms yesterday, I've been logged out of the main website and the chat boards at least 4 times in a little over 24 hours.  It appears that I was just logged out of both after logging in 2 hours ago; I think I'm being my remembered login is being unremembered after 2 hours.  This is on an android phone and a windows PC both using Chrome.

Hi Mike, yeah I've encountered this quite a bit for sometime but as others have mentioned this is a bit different. It keeps signing me out and even the trick of clicking on "Sign Out" and logging back in doesn't seem to work like it used to.

I have sent web help and the senior site reliability engineer a link to this thread.  I also added that this might be a different problem.

This is definitely different, Mike. It seems to have started with the signing of the new Legalese.

If you read the legalese, it says the masters have the right to sign you out at any time.

Yup as soon as I agreed to that pop up it started happening. It’s like before, but worse. It’s happening across all devices I use.

No rush, though, Mike. I know you’ve got a lot going on at the moment. Just wanted to raise my hand that the issue started after accepted that agreement.

I haven't dealt with what most of the other posters are dealing with. But I still have to sign in a couple of times a week and it is becoming a real pain.
