3 points!  Started out with a 13 and steadily got use to grading Golden Age books.  Some tricky book - thanks for putting on the contest.

My worst round by far. Thought I was being generous with grades, but as it turned out I was under grading them. Received a 10 point KO

I figured CGC was overgrading compared to my grades, which were almost always lower by a grade. This time I decided to footloose and fancy free. Got the highest score ever, an 11. Arg. Total for contest is 33, good enough to be near last place.

Looking forward to next round.

6 points here. Did pretty well overall but missed badly on the Action; I thought for sure the back cover would sink the technical grade.

Undergraded Kid Komics by 3 and overgraded the other four by 1. 7 frustrating as hell points.

Back cover! No, front cover!  

*Both* covers of the Action seemed to have some showthrough from the interior ads -- that may have been what you were seeing on the front, those kind of pink hazy shapes in the yellow spotlights. Top of back cover looks pretty stained/discolored to me even setting aside the showthrough, but ah well. Maybe it's not that bad in hand.

It stands to reason that I should say with my 9 points, I did get 1 Bullseye, but was off by 3 on two books, then 2 on one and 1 on another equalling 9.

I've returned to getting several of bullseyes this contest, which is normal, but the last few contests I wasn't even achieving that so, progress.

But nowhere near as bad as the last round though! That round sunk me good! 

I think I've seen all the mid-grade GA books I ever want to see... er, on second thought, that's not quite true - it's just all the midgrade GA books IN A GRADING CONTEST that I ever want to see again LOL!

As predicted, I'm killing myself over Punch #10

I initially wanted to go 5.0 because of how it presented, but because of the size of the corner out being more than 1/2", I busted it down to a 3.5. Should have just gone with my gut. 

At any rate, I still had an awesome time and posted my best showing in the contest ever with an aggregate score of 20.
