I know this might be a reach, but didn't Edgar work for the phone company? Is it signed or noted who the artist is? Could it possibly be Church himself?

 

Did he work for the phone company or did he just draw display ads for firms wanting to advertise in the yellow pages? I know he did the second (I picked up a few of those in HA auctions), but I didn't know he was working directly for the phone company.

nice one Marty - the # 6 is sweet. Fred Kida cover, and GCD thinks perhaps Frazetta contributed inks to the first story too.

They aren't common. There are at least two different versions. Haven't seen more than 5 total.

 

There are several other airline comics that are also uncommon.

No KS here. It's a one shot by an outfit near the raceway. Art isn't great but stories of the race and drivers are interesting.

Wow, thanks for pointing that out! That great thread was over in Original Art. My Visit to Comic Nirvana

Edgar's Green Cobra looks awesome and it's a crime it was never produced.
