:golfclap:Amazing group Jay! So hard to put together. Interesting to see how this title morphed genres over the run. Sadly, I have yet to get those last 3 issues and are unlikely to do so at this point…:sorry:

I only have the last three.

Strange Adventures

I don’t believe the 10¢ portion of the series has ever been hot, but I was a huge fan of sci-fi stories as a kid in the 1950s, so I’ve always enjoyed the title.  Strange Adventures issues have been found in more Golden Age / Atomic Age Pedigree Collections than any other title.  Issues #1-20 are common in high grade (which I’ll chalk up to the fact that this series appealed to older, well-established pulp collectors).  However, the late pre-code and early post-code issues are quite hard to find in grades above about 6.0 FN.  Assembling this run has been a really fun 60-year challenge.  Nearly all of these specimens were purchased raw and submitted for CGC certification by me.

Wow, just another jaw dropping set Jay! A true labor of love. I’ve only got maybe 20 of those lacking just a couple to have what I want. Never wanted them all. I suppose you got a similar set of Mystery in Space to go along with them?

Yes, that Champion Comics # 3 or 4(?) is rare. Pic circa 1949 compliments of Bob Beerbohm's FB site:

Now, that is quite “the rack” Bevis.

Just think walking up to it with only one dime. That Capt America Weird Tales would be going home with me…

Not really a group. Rather a pair. But I feel these two belong together. Both received CGC 6.5 OW-W. Both covers by MR. Sprang. Both feature a very predominant Joker with B&R in the background. Both have that Golden Age yellow with red that I love so much.

Wow, pretty pair!  ( . )( . ) !!!
