For those that are interested, here is a scan of the CGC 4.0, Off-White to White pages, that EsquireComics and Nostalgic Investments sold recently for $195,000. One of the best known examples for page quality. Really sharp looking 4.0 book which would've graded higher except for the slight tear under Superman's cape and the lower left corner.

Just curious, was tape removed from the bottom of the spine? Seems to be a stain there (as noted on the label).

As I was looking at the image I was trying to remember myself. I only saw the book when I made the actual transaction so I am actually not sure. I can check.

Wow. That is one SHARP VG. In fact, I couldn't imagine a much better example for the technical grade.
