I have a Large scan of the recent 6.5 Action #1 SALE. I can confirm that is the book on his website. It has 25cents written next to the N in Action. It is real nice.

Thanks for the kind words. I think it is good to let the public see some of these one-of-a-kind-items and I'm glad people appreciate looking at the site. I wish more people would stop hiding what they own -just b/c somebody knows that the xyz cover exists doesn't mean it is devalued.

Exactly! What is his incintive to do that? It would cost a fortune to grade his collection and it really doesn't matter since he's keeping them.

 

In the final analysis does it really matter if his Action #1 is a 9.2, 9.4, or even 9.6?

Only to us. And none of us will ever own it, so why bother.

and turn it into a weekly reality show,except unlike the bounty hunter Im bounty hunting for the ultimate comicbook of all time.

Either that or we can create an "action1kid's Eleven" (similar to Ocean's Eleven), where we set-up a heist to steal the Dentist's Action Comics #1 (among other books).

 

Norrin Radd can be our historical expert. He can study all the major heists that have taken place over the past 50 years, and come up with a strategy.

 

Valiantman can be our technical and computer expert.

 

Of course, we need Steve Borock as the inside man , since he's already seen the layout and knows the Dentist.

 

Joanna will be the female member of the group.

 

Mark Zaid can be our political liaison just in case the cops give us trouble.

 

We also need a forum member whose light on their feet, and can flip through open or closed windows at a moments notice. Someone that knows how to open safes without setting off the alarm, and someone that owns a sportscar and likes driving in excess of 120 miles/hour and through on-coming traffic.

 

Once the caper is completed, I'll take the collection and hide it in a safe place until the coast is clear. Of course, this wait time can take up to several years if not decades.

That's easy....... we'll hire a camera man to come along with us. Episodes 1 to 5 will have exposes on each member of our group. Episodes 6 to 10 will include the planning stages for our heist, and the Dentist driving back and forth from his office. Episodes 11 to 15 will include the actual caper. Then Episodes 16 - 19 will be the high-speed car chases during the getaway, while the final episode will have me sitting in an undisclosed location with a big stack of books in front of me, and a huge smile on my face.

I was thinking of borrowing Austin Powers Big Boy Rocket ship and orbiting into space for 30 years with the Action #1. Is there a statute of limitations on theft?
