if you wanna see a REALLY tough one, let me show you my top-census copy of this puppy. if a nice copy of this book hits an auction, it would make for some spirited fun.

Very nice. I really like the covers Simon did a lot. I'm repeating myself here, but it's his best work for me.

The Simon covers are interesting. Most of them are a hodge-podge of character swipes from different sources, and they can feel a bit cluttered, but they have that great feverish pulp feel to them and the colors are usually zingy, the above being a prime example. I really like 'em too.

another joe cover i don't see very often, tho' russ managed to grab one just recently. this was the very first fox book i bought upon deciding to go after all the books thru 7/40 [i already owned a couple, but as part of my ped type-set, or as a sundry "cool" book to have].

I'm not much of an early Fox collector. Like Centaur, I've got a handful of each but this book could easily convert me!
