These early MIS issues are truly scarce in grade. Here's one for which there is NO copy in the CGC census:

That sure is pretty! Man I love this book, ever since I found out it was linked to Red Tornado I was on the hunt. Finally got a copy, almost as good as yours, a couple of weeks ago.

Outstanding Thread. Infantino covers were brillant.

I always related to Mystery In Space because I equated Adam Strange with my favorite jet pack heroes: Comando Cody; Rocket Man etc.

Here's one of my favorite covers.

Adam Strange/Mystery in Space is probably my series of choice, regardless of era. The whole concept of adventures on a distant planet with a beautiful girl at your side takes my breath away. And when you throw in Infantino's perfectly suited landscapes and characters, it's hard to beat.

Beautiful copy and one I don't have. There are so many great covers in this run and here is another...

Yeah, I love that one! I bought a copy last year. It's a greytone that you don't hear much about.

How many MIS's have planets on the cover? Usually it's Earth, but here's another one, and another of my all-time favorites.

Great story in that one too..... the planetoid is going through an existential breakdown!

I've posted this link before, but I'll do it again for the newer guys..... this is a great website with nicely written articles about Adam Strange and others. Check it out.
