jmg3637
Almost inconcievable that I would ever complete either of these with TRADES only. I am sure that I will be able to get over 1000, but I may run out of worthwhile trade books at some point. Also some of them will be just very hard to find and expensive in the first place. Here are the new ones from page
Scrooge
Speaking of this one, I was reading it this morning and the cartooning inside is fantastic IMO. Sadly, there is no credit available for that issue at the GCD. Below are a scan of my copy and a couple of pages with Silver having a Bambi moment. If only the main Lone Ranger title benefited from the same artist ...

Scrooge
Bought a stack of 30 at a local show this after-noon. Nothing special but hewing at the run. Was surprised how many are on the "missing" list for this thread. Here they are:

Scrooge
Too many This new batch pushed me to a total on hand of 781 (or 59%). It's all downhill from here That makes it 541 to go. If Selegue ever sends me his side on a trade, I might get to 800 quickly Edited February 28, 2010 by Scrooge
JohnT
59% is impressive. When I retire I'd love to try to get the whole run. Probably a pipe dream but it's cool to think about.
BB-Gun
Been slowly working on early books (sub-200). Yes, I've been a cheap ... but there are soooooo many books in the series I noticed you have a four color signed by Joyce. I used to have a lot of those. Sold the Suspense 3 and 4 tho. Scrooge
We've not seen this thread pop up in a while. There are 5 issues of Lolly in the FC series. I have 4 out of the 5 (though only 3 scanned). Diamond was selling some of the strips so I bought one seeing how cheap they are. This one makes me laugh. For some reason, ... it didn't make my wife laugh as hard
