Marty Mann
Not too bad, having been read by my children and my grandchildren. mm
Sqeggs
Not too bad, having been read by my children and my grandchildren. mm In that case it's in amazingly good shape. Any books my kids came in contact with were pretty well trashed when they were finished with them.

50YrsCollctngCmcs
Really great books. Here's an early SMILIN' JACK. mm Nice book from what I always view as the Sweet Part of the Four Color run. As for Smilin' Jack; I never got the appeal? Thanks for posting.
generic user
Nice book from what I always view as the Sweet Part of the Four Color run. As for Smilin' Jack; I never got the appeal? Thanks for posting. I always thought it was a decent strip. It had some decent characters and plot lines, and the art was decent. Also, I don't think many of us can relate to how popular aviation themes were back then.

AJD
I'll chip in Marty - the one you posted comes after Donald Duck in Volcano Valley and the second Albert and Pogo book. Not a bad start for a 'sweet spot'!

Baz
Four Color #56. I bought this comic almost 25 years ago. Very nice copy. (thumbs u Understatement. That's gorgeous. Just noticed that it's a Gerber 8. Top census copy is an 8.5. Appears as if this copy would grade higher. Didn't realize that it was a Gerber 8. makes me appreciate my copy more - will have to look at it tonight! damonwad
I picked these up a little more recently than Marty got his. I enjoyed the interior of the #255 but the #460 left alot to be desired (at least it has a pretty cover though).
