I know it's not a cover, and some of you have seen this.

But when I searched for a Stevens example for my collection I chose this Splash page over a half dozen original covers I could have chased.

Still at the very top of my favorite pieces list many years later.

 

 

All the respect in the world for Dave's talent and it's just an added bonus that you could bounce a quarter 4 feet in the air off the behinds he creates.

I started collecting Dave Stevens raw autographs of my favorite girlie covers of his about a year ago - really kind of fun hunting these down. My favorite one though is the Bettie Page Comics that I have signed by Dave AND Bettie Page.
