Can someone tell me what the Love Stories 5 went for $$? $1,655.00 Thank you (thumbs u I emailed Comic Link twice to ask them what it sold for, and no response. Shootydog
Ebay [/img] [/img] Nice. Honestly though, I don't think there is a lot of interest in 100 pagers anymore. I hope thats the case because Im seriously considering working to collect them. I have fallen in love with them through my collecting and just love flipping through them. I only want Raw books that have good appeal to the eye. 8.0 or better is perfectly acceptable.
icefires
ComicLink auction has a Love Stories #5 CGC 9.4 and a Our Army at War 242 CGC 9.4. Any guesses as to how high these will go?

icefires
Tell me when they are at 9.8.. Buy the Love Stories, crack it out, and send it to Matt for an upgrade. Oh wait, I think that's how it came to be a 9.4........

clarkkentdds
Does anyone know who just snatched the Supes #245 CGC 9.6 from me??? It was listed on Ebay and I put a crazy bid of over $1700, and someone sniped it at the last second. I'd be interested in knowing who go it! Was that a reasonable price?? I thought it was aggressive... Edited September 20, 2009 by Clarkkentdds

I thought it was aggressive... Hey man. Sorry to hear you missed out on something you wanted ... but isn't $1,700 way over what that comic lists at? That sale is the only one I'm seeing in GPAnalysis, so I don't have much to compare it to, but isn't that like a couple hundred dollar comic? $1,700 is a bit more than 11 times what Overstreet has listed for 9.2. I guess I didn't realize that high grade Bronze Age CGC comics commanded such a premium.
