thanks a lot for the info. good to know because i have the photo journals on my want list.

Crime and Justice 22-26 are listed as 8 in the Gerber guide. (but may not exist?)

All of the issues below are listed as Gerber 7s.

Crime patrol 15 (Feldstein stuff is great in all of those)

Crime Smasher 8,11

Crime Fighting Detective 15 (LB cole covers are very collectible)

Crime Does Not Pay 22, 24, 36 (Palais is great in most of the early issues)

Killers 2 (but issue 1 is a better cover)

Monster Crime Comics (Odd ball title and a must)

Moon Girl Fights Crime 7, 8 (I would be happy to find any)

Large Feature 10, 17 (Gang Busters but I prefer Di_k Tracy)

Racket Squad in Action 22 (Ditko covers are the best in this run)

Western Killers 63 (more cross over titles)

Western Crime Busters 9

Trapped 2

Authentic Police Cases 32 (6 is not as rare but high on the want list)

Reform School Girl (yes!)

The Underworld

Fox Giant March of Crime (1950) but the 1949 cover is better

St. John Giant 4 (Crime Stories) Get the romance and forget the crime

Many Keen Detective issues (but these were mixed with superheroes so no #s added to the list)

High on the want list are issues of True Crime 2, 3 and Thrilling Crime 49 and 50

but they are not as rare according to Gerber.

This is all from a quick look through the guide and I probably missed a bunch but I thought you might want to see what Gerber said.

Forgot about that book..I searched a long time for that one....finally found the Krippen copy...I agree the cover is not that of the Killers 1 LB but still fantastic in it's own right..plus interiors are Ghastly....pardon the pun..Gerber 7

BB I should have posted this one in the Violence Sex and drugs thread before..

Offbeat posted the Carmen and Aida versions of this title. I finally found a copy of the Rigoletto. It is not listed in Gerber, but would be an "8" or "9". All four of the issues are listed as "rare" by Overstreet.

Sweet! Never even heard of that one before.

Twistty,

I have both issues of Killers and I prefer the first issue. I guess I like Cole better.

But both are gruesome in their own way and I agree that they belonged on the Sex and Violence thread.

Great book, Mark! Definitely a 9. I'm willing to bet the last copy I have of that Masterpieces Illustrated copyright thing on that. ;)

Looks like between, you, Sardo and myself we completed the series.

Does Trooper know about this one?

I think he does and I think he owns a copy. Didn't Sharon sell a low grade copy around here some time in the Spring?

I just looked through his trooper book thread, he posted this one...
