october
I am still floored that a book this cool can be had for under $500. There are still some bargains out there, at that was definitely one of them. The problem is that now you have gone and shown everyone how cool it is! The seller is a boardmember and posted the book in the eBay/dealer section. Just goes to show how little traffic those threads get. I am happy to hype a book I already own! It's the ones I still need to get that I keep my mouth shut about!
october
i am on board ricky's post--an unbelievably beautiful book, and i collect the run from 102 up. "wow" was invented for this one. Given the books you own and have showed, that's high praise.

swapto
that could be a possibility Ronaldo, as there are always books that i want that i dont have funds for. plus i sympathize with those who are trying to complete runs. i dont collect runs. good luck getting your own copy though, that way i wont be tempted by you for now though i am on
swapto
is Comic Grading Group aka CGC? if not, who is it? and doesnt a replaced staple constitute a green or purple label? Thanks, B. Edited August 16, 2007 by swapto
Forbush-Man
is Comic Grading Group aka CGC? if not, who is it? and doesnt a replaced staple constitute a green or purple label? Thanks, B. If you look in an old Overstreet Price Guide you will see that replacing a staple on a Golden Age book, with a vintage staple, was acceptable up to a grade of Fine. Since CGC, the standard has been removed. Flip a coin. Comic Grading Group, PGA & PGX are the same company renamed a few times...they are not the same as "CGC".
